Kerala HC Orders FIR Against Former CM Pinarayi Vijayan in Bribery Case

The Kerala High Court has ordered the registration of a FIR against former Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and others in connection with the alleged CMRL bribery case. The order was based on a report submitted by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). The court allowed a petition arguing for an FIR instead of a preliminary inquiry into the allegations. The ED had previously informed the court that an FIR could be registered against Vijayan, his daughter Veena T, and her husband P A Mohamed Riyas based on its findings.

केरल हाई कोर्ट ने कथित CMRL रिश्वत मामले में पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री पिनराई विजयन और अन्य के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज करने का आदेश दिया है। यह आदेश प्रवर्तन निदेशालय (ED) द्वारा सौंपी गई रिपोर्ट पर आधारित था। अदालत ने आरोपों की प्रारंभिक जांच के बजाय FIR के लिए दायर याचिका को स्वीकार कर लिया। ED ने पहले अदालत को सूचित किया था कि उसकी जांच के आधार पर विजयन, उनकी बेटी वीना टी, और उनके पति पी ए मोहम्मद रियास के खिलाफ FIR दर्ज की जा सकती है।
