Chandigarh MC Commissioner Inspects Dadumajra Landfill Site

Chandigarh Municipal Commissioner Amit Kumar conducted a surprise inspection of the Dadumajra sanitary landfill on Monday. He reviewed plantation efforts along the boundary wall, ongoing waste processing operations, and the progress of a newly constructed inspection track. Kumar directed officials to ensure regular monitoring, expedite pending tasks, and maintain the site effectively. He emphasized enhancing the green cover and speeding up mixed waste processing to address bottlenecks. The inspection track aims to facilitate regular monitoring of the dumpsite area and plantation.

चंडीगढ़ म्युनिसिपल कमिश्नर अमित कुमार ने सोमवार को दादुमाजरा सैनिटरी लैंडफिल का अचानक निरीक्षण किया। उन्होंने बाउंड्री वॉल के साथ पौधारोपण के प्रयासों, चल रहे कचरा प्रसंस्करण कार्यों और नव निर्मित निरीक्षण ट्रैक की प्रगति की समीक्षा की। कुमार ने अधिकारियों को नियमित निगरानी सुनिश्चित करने, लंबित कार्यों में तेजी लाने और साइट को प्रभावी ढंग से बनाए रखने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने बाधाओं को दूर करने के लिए हरित आवरण बढ़ाने और मिश्रित कचरा प्रसंस्करण में तेजी लाने पर जोर दिया। निरीक्षण ट्रैक का उद्देश्य डंपसाइट क्षेत्र और पौधारोपण की नियमित निगरानी को सुविधाजनक बनाना है।
