Gujarat and Japan Explore Deeper Ties Ahead of 2027 Diplomatic Anniversary

Gujarat and Japan are strengthening cooperation in trade, investment, and cultural exchanges as they approach the 75th anniversary of their diplomatic relations in 2027. This month, Japan's honorary consul in Ahmedabad, Mukesh Patel, visited Japan for seven days, holding meetings with government and diplomatic representatives across several cities. Patel met with the Indian ambassador to Japan and Japanese officials, highlighting Gujarat's investment opportunities at a 'Make in India' seminar in Osaka. He also emphasized the long-standing business and cultural exchanges between Gujarat and Hyogo prefecture.
