Delhi Transport Corporation Plans Solar Power Systems For Bus Depots

The Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) is planning to install solar power systems across its depots, terminals, and office buildings. This initiative aims to significantly reduce the corporation's electricity expenditure and explore new avenues for generating non-fare revenue. The DTC board has given in-principle approval to assess the solarisation potential of its facilities. The Solar Energy Corporation of India will conduct the assessment, with the DTC managing director authorised to make further implementation decisions.
