IT Engineer Dies Mysteriously, Family Alleges Dowry Harassment

A 23-year-old IT engineer, Vaishnavi Pravin Jarande, died under suspicious circumstances in Pune. Her family has accused her husband and in-laws of demanding dowry and subjecting her to mental and physical torture. Vaishnavi had reportedly spoken to her mother about the harassment on the night of her death. Her family rushed to Pune upon losing contact and discovered her demise. A case has been registered against her husband and in-laws for dowry demands and alleged harassment.

पुणे में 23 साल की आईटी इंजीनियर वैष्णवी प्रवीण जरंडे की संदिग्ध परिस्थितियों में मौत हो गई। उसके परिवार ने उसके पति और ससुराल वालों पर दहेज मांगने और उसे मानसिक व शारीरिक यातना देने का आरोप लगाया है। बताया गया है कि वैष्णवी ने मौत की रात अपनी मां से उत्पीड़न के बारे में बात की थी। संपर्क टूटने पर उसका परिवार पुणे पहुंचा और उसकी मौत का पता चला। दहेज की मांग और कथित उत्पीड़न के आरोप में उसके पति और ससुराल वालों के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज किया गया है।
