Telangana MLA Danam Nagender Disqualified, Seat Vacant

The Telangana Gazette has formally notified the disqualification of Congress MLA Danam Nagender from the Khairatabad Assembly constituency. This follows a Telangana High Court judgment and subsequent Supreme Court dismissal of his plea. Nagender was disqualified for contesting the 2024 Lok Sabha election as a Congress candidate while serving as a BRS MLA. The disqualification is effective from April 23, 2024, rendering the Khairatabad seat vacant from the same date. The notification was issued by the Telangana Legislative Assembly Secretary.

तेलंगाना के विधायक दानम नागेंद्र अयोग्य घोषित, सीट खाली

तेलंगाना गजट ने खैरताबाद विधानसभा सीट से कांग्रेस विधायक दानम नागेंद्र की अयोग्यता की औपचारिक सूचना जारी कर दी है। यह तेलंगाना हाई कोर्ट के फैसले और उसके बाद सुप्रीम कोर्ट द्वारा उनकी याचिका खारिज करने के बाद हुआ है। नागेंद्र को बीआरएस विधायक रहते हुए कांग्रेस उम्मीदवार के तौर पर 2024 लोकसभा चुनाव लड़ने के लिए अयोग्य घोषित किया गया था। यह अयोग्यता 23 अप्रैल 2024 से प्रभावी है, जिससे उसी तारीख से खैरताबाद सीट खाली हो गई है। यह सूचना तेलंगाना विधानसभा सचिव द्वारा जारी की गई थी।
