4.9 Magnitude Earthquake Hits Uttarakhand's Chamoli, Tremors Felt Across Delhi-NCR

A 4.9-magnitude earthquake struck Uttarakhand's Chamoli district late Tuesday night, causing tremors to be felt across Delhi and its surrounding National Capital Region. The National Centre for Seismology reported the earthquake's epicentre was located at a depth of 13 km in Chamoli. The quake occurred at approximately 10:23 p.m., according to the NCS and the Uttarakhand State Disaster Management Authority. While tremors were also experienced in parts of Uttarakhand, including Dehradun, officials have stated that no damage has been reported so far.

मंगलवार देर रात उत्तराखंड के चमोली जिले में 4.9 तीव्रता का भूकंप आया, जिससे दिल्ली और आसपास के राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र (एनसीआर) में झटके महसूस किए गए। नेशनल सेंटर फॉर सीस्मोलॉजी ने बताया कि भूकंप का केंद्र चमोली में 13 किमी की गहराई में स्थित था। एनसीएस और उत्तराखंड राज्य आपदा प्रबंधन प्राधिकरण के अनुसार, यह भूकंप रात करीब 10:23 बजे आया। देहरादून सहित उत्तराखंड के कुछ हिस्सों में भी झटके महसूस किए गए, लेकिन अधिकारियों ने बताया कि अब तक किसी भी तरह के नुकसान की कोई खबर नहीं है।
