Children Used as 'Shield' in CJP Protest? NHRC Issues Notices to Mumbai Police and X

NHRC has taken suo motu cognizance of alleged involvement of minor children in a public demonstration in Mumbai and the subsequent circulation of their photos and videos on social media. The protest was organized by the कॉकरोच जनता पार्टी (कॉजपा) against alleged irregularities in voter list revision. The NHRC has issued notices to the Mumbai Police Commissioner, MeitY, X Corp's Grievance Officer, and the Maharashtra Women and Child Development Department.
