Bengaluru Metro Extension to Nelamangala Proposed by Experts

Experts and public representatives are advocating for a 14-km extension of Bengaluru's Namma Metro from Madavara to Nelamangala. This proposal arises as authorities consider the viability of extending the Metro all the way to Tumakuru, with an alternative RRTS link also being explored. The current Green Line terminal is Madavara, and a detailed project report for a 60km extension towards Tumakuru has been submitted.

विशेषज्ञ और जन प्रतिनिधि बेंगलुरु की नम्मा मेट्रो को माडावारा से नेलमंगला तक 14 किलोमीटर बढ़ाने की वकालत कर रहे हैं। यह प्रस्ताव ऐसे समय में आया है जब अधिकारी मेट्रो को तुमकुरु तक पूरा विस्तार देने की व्यवहार्यता पर विचार कर रहे हैं, और एक वैकल्पिक RRTS लिंक पर भी विचार किया जा रहा है। वर्तमान ग्रीन लाइन का अंतिम स्टेशन माडावारा है, और तुमकुरु की ओर 60 किलोमीटर के विस्तार के लिए एक विस्तृत परियोजना रिपोर्ट (DPR) पहले ही जमा की जा चुकी है।
