Police Martyrs' Sacrifice An Enduring Inspiration, Says Deputy Commissioner

Kalaburagi Deputy Commissioner Ikram Shareef stated that the courage and sacrifice of police personnel who died in the line of duty serve as an enduring inspiration. He emphasized that honouring these martyrs is a collective responsibility. Police personnel work tirelessly to maintain law and order, often sacrificing personal time during festivals and family events to ensure public safety and peace. The event also commemorated 154 police personnel who lost their lives in duty this year, with tributes paid to 10 officers killed in a 1959 confrontation in Ladakh.

कालाबुर्गी डिप्टी कमिश्नर इकरम शरीफ ने कहा कि ड्यूटी के दौरान शहीद हुए पुलिसकर्मियों का साहस और बलिदान हमेशा प्रेरणा देता रहेगा। उन्होंने जोर दिया कि इन शहीदों का सम्मान करना सबकी जिम्मेदारी है। पुलिसकर्मी कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए अथक प्रयास करते हैं, अक्सर जनता की सुरक्षा और शांति सुनिश्चित करने के लिए त्योहारों और पारिवारिक कार्यक्रमों के दौरान अपना व्यक्तिगत समय भी कुर्बान कर देते हैं। इस कार्यक्रम में इस साल ड्यूटी में जान गंवाने वाले 154 पुलिसकर्मियों को भी याद किया गया, और लद्दाख में 1959 की मुठभेड़ में मारे गए 10 अधिकारियों को श्रद्धांजलि दी गई।
