Keralam Police Launch Citizen Help Desks Replacing PRO System

Keralam Police have replaced the existing PRO system with integrated Citizen Help Desks across all police stations to streamline public access to services. These desks will handle all functions previously managed by Public Relations Officers, acting as a single point of contact for complaints, digital services, and information. They will offer dedicated assistance to women, children, senior citizens, transgender persons, and individuals with disabilities. Services include handling cybercrime complaints, providing legal guidance, assisting with applications for various police services, and facilitating RTI and FIR copy requests.

केरल पुलिस ने सेवाओं तक जनता की पहुँच को आसान बनाने के लिए सभी पुलिस स्टेशनों में मौजूदा PRO सिस्टम को एकीकृत नागरिक सहायता डेस्क से बदल दिया है। ये डेस्क पब्लिक रिलेशंस ऑफिसर्स द्वारा संभाले जाने वाले सभी कामों को देखेंगे, और शिकायतें, डिजिटल सेवाएँ और जानकारी के लिए एक ही संपर्क बिंदु के रूप में काम करेंगे। ये महिलाएँ, बच्चे, वरिष्ठ नागरिक, ट्रांसजेंडर व्यक्ति और विकलांग लोगों को विशेष सहायता प्रदान करेंगे। सेवाओं में साइबर अपराध की शिकायतें संभालना, कानूनी मार्गदर्शन देना, विभिन्न पुलिस सेवाओं के लिए आवेदन में मदद करना और RTI और FIR की कॉपी के अनुरोधों को सुविधाजनक बनाना शामिल है।
