Kerala Considers Thrissur, Kasaragod Sites For Proposed All-India Ayurveda Institute

The Kerala government is evaluating Thrissur and Kasaragod districts as potential locations for a new All-India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA). Over 200 acres have been identified in Vettilappara Grama Panchayat, Thrissur, and Cheemeni Grama Panchayat, Kasaragod, for the institute, which will operate under the Ayush Ministry. The state has sent a draft proposal to the Centre, which plans to establish three such institutes nationwide to expand education, research, and healthcare services.

केरल सरकार ऑल-इंडिया इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ आयुर्वेद (AIIA) के लिए त्रिशूर और कासरगोड जिलों को संभावित स्थानों के तौर पर देख रही है। इस संस्थान के लिए त्रिशूर के वेट्टीलापारा ग्राम पंचायत और कासरगोड के चेमेनी ग्राम पंचायत में 200 एकड़ से ज़्यादा ज़मीन पहचानी गई है, जो आयुष मंत्रालय के तहत काम करेगा। राज्य ने केंद्र को एक ड्राफ्ट प्रस्ताव भेजा है, जो देश भर में ऐसे तीन संस्थान स्थापित करने की योजना बना रहा है ताकि शिक्षा, अनुसंधान और स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं का विस्तार किया जा सके।
