Cases to be Disposed of in 3 Years After Full Implementation of BNS: Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced that once the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) is fully implemented, all cases, from FIR registration to Supreme Court, will be resolved within three years. He stated this while addressing cattle rearers in Bhopal, highlighting that the new law aims for justice rather than just punishment. Shah also contrasted the new laws with those enacted during British rule, asserting that the BNS is designed to protect citizens' dignity.

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने घोषणा की कि भारतीय न्याय संहिता (बीएनएस) के पूरी तरह लागू होने के बाद, एफआईआर दर्ज होने से लेकर सुप्रीम कोर्ट तक के सभी मामले तीन साल के भीतर सुलझा लिए जाएंगे। उन्होंने भोपाल में पशुपालकों को संबोधित करते हुए यह बात कही और बताया कि नए कानून का उद्देश्य केवल सजा देने के बजाय न्याय दिलाना है। शाह ने नए कानूनों की तुलना ब्रिटिश शासन के दौरान बनाए गए कानूनों से भी की और दावा किया कि बीएनएस नागरिकों की गरिमा की रक्षा के लिए बनाया गया है।
