Delhi Women's Free Bus Travel Now Requires Pink Smart Card

Delhi's female residents can now avail free travel on DTC and cluster buses only through the Pink Saheli Smart Card. This new rule, implemented under the Delhi Transport Corporation (Free and Concessional Passes) (Second Amendment) Regulations, 2026, applies to both AC and non-AC buses. Women who are not eligible for free travel, or choose not to use the card, can still purchase tickets by paying the applicable fare.

दिल्ली की महिला निवासी अब DTC और क्लस्टर बसों में केवल पिंक सहेली स्मार्ट कार्ड के ज़रिए मुफ्त यात्रा का लाभ उठा सकती हैं। दिल्ली परिवहन निगम (मुफ्त और रियायती पास) (द्वितीय संशोधन) विनियम, 2026 के तहत लागू किया गया यह नया नियम AC और नॉन-AC दोनों बसों पर लागू होता है। जो महिलाएँ मुफ्त यात्रा के लिए पात्र नहीं हैं, या कार्ड का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहती हैं, वे लागू किराया देकर टिकट खरीद सकती हैं।
