Cyclone Murasu Makes Landfall on Andhra Pradesh Coast; Flights, Trains Cancelled

Cyclone Murasu has made landfall on the coast of Andhra Pradesh, bringing heavy rainfall and strong winds of up to 120 km/h. The process of the cyclone crossing the coast is ongoing, with a large part of its wall cloud already on land. Several trains and flights have been cancelled due to the severe weather. Authorities have advised fishermen against venturing into the sea and warned people against travelling on ghat roads due to landslide risks. The cyclone is also expected to bring heavy rains to Telangana.
