CJP Protest Disrupts Travel: Airfares Soar Amidst Train Cancellations

Times of India · india

A CJP protest in Delhi has led to train cancellations and travel disruptions, causing a slight increase in last-minute flight bookings. Airfares on certain routes have surged, with some flights from Amritsar doubling in price. Travel industry insiders note that this shift to air travel could become more significant if restrictions continue, especially with the festive season approaching. The primary concern for airlines and the airport is ensuring passengers and staff can reach the airport amidst potential metro and traffic disruptions.
