Rishabh Pant Out Of First Two India A Unofficial Tests Due To Strain

Wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant has been ruled out of the initial two unofficial Tests between India A and New Zealand A, commencing October 24. Pant sustained a left side strain while leading Rest of India in the Irani Cup and is under the care of the BCCI Medical Team. Kumar Kushagra has been named as his replacement for the first two matches. A decision on Pant's availability for the third Test will be made later, depending on his recovery progress.
