Bengaluru Leads Office Leasing In India

Office space leasing in India's top seven markets reached 54.4 million sq ft from January to September 2026, a 7% year-on-year increase. Bengaluru led the demand, accounting for 15.7 million sq ft, or 29% of the total. The technology sector was the primary driver of conventional office space uptake, leasing approximately 16 million sq ft. Flex space operators also contributed significantly, leasing 12.6 million sq ft, with Bengaluru and Delhi-NCR being leading flex markets.

जनवरी से सितंबर 2026 तक भारत के टॉप सात बाज़ारों में ऑफिस स्पेस की लीज़िंग 54.4 मिलियन वर्ग फुट तक पहुँच गई, जो पिछले साल के मुकाबले 7% ज़्यादा है। बेंगलुरु में सबसे ज़्यादा डिमांड रही, जहाँ 15.7 मिलियन वर्ग फुट यानी कुल का 29% हिस्सा लीज़ हुआ। टेक्नोलॉजी सेक्टर ने सबसे ज़्यादा ऑफिस स्पेस लिया, लगभग 16 मिलियन वर्ग फुट। फ्लेक्स स्पेस ऑपरेटर्स ने भी 12.6 मिलियन वर्ग फुट लीज़ किया, जिसमें बेंगलुरु और दिल्ली-एनसीआर सबसे आगे रहे।
