PMK Denies Seeking Ministerial Berths, Affirms NDA Alliance

PMK president Anbumani Ramadoss has categorically denied reports that his party is seeking ministerial positions, labelling such claims as baseless rumours. He clarified that the PMK remains a part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) and has no intention of seeking any berths. Ramadoss also stated that the party's decision to abstain from voting during the recent floor test was a collective one, made after consulting senior functionaries. He further commented on the AIADMK's performance in recent by-elections, suggesting introspection after their third-place finish in key constituencies.

PMK अध्यक्ष Anbumani Ramadoss ने इस बात से साफ़ इनकार किया है कि उनकी पार्टी मंत्री पद की मांग कर रही है, और ऐसी खबरों को बेबुनियाद बताया है। उन्होंने साफ़ किया कि PMK, National Democratic Alliance (NDA) का हिस्सा है और किसी भी पद की मांग नहीं कर रही है। Ramadoss ने यह भी कहा कि हालिया फ्लोर टेस्ट में वोटिंग से अनुपस्थित रहने का फैसला पार्टी का सामूहिक निर्णय था, जो वरिष्ठ नेताओं से सलाह-मशविरे के बाद लिया गया। उन्होंने AIADMK के हालिया उपचुनावों में प्रदर्शन पर भी टिप्पणी की और कहा कि महत्वपूर्ण सीटों पर तीसरे स्थान पर आने के बाद उन्हें आत्मनिरीक्षण करना चाहिए।
