Govt Notifies Grievance Rules Under Rural Employment Act, Sets 15-Day Deadline

The Centre has notified new grievance redressal rules under the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025. These rules mandate that complaints related to the rural employment scheme must be resolved within 15 days. A three-tier mechanism at gram panchayat, block, and district levels will be established, with designated officers to handle complaints. Grievances can be submitted through various modes, including a digital platform, and will be escalated if not resolved within the stipulated time.

ग्रामीण रोज़गार अधिनियम के तहत शिकायत नियम अधिसूचित, 15 दिन की समय सीमा तय

केंद्र ने विकसित भारत-गारंटी फॉर रोज़गार और आजीविका मिशन (ग्रामीण) अधिनियम, 2025 के तहत शिकायत निवारण के नए नियम अधिसूचित किए हैं। इन नियमों के तहत ग्रामीण रोज़गार योजना से जुड़ी शिकायतों का समाधान 15 दिनों के भीतर किया जाना ज़रूरी है। ग्राम पंचायत, ब्लॉक और ज़िला स्तर पर तीन-स्तरीय तंत्र स्थापित किया जाएगा, जिसमें शिकायतों को संभालने के लिए नामित अधिकारी होंगे। शिकायतें डिजिटल प्लेटफॉर्म सहित विभिन्न माध्यमों से दर्ज की जा सकती हैं, और यदि निर्धारित समय में उनका समाधान नहीं होता है तो उन्हें आगे बढ़ाया जाएगा।
