Three Workers Die of Suffocation While Working In Septic Tank

Three workers died of suffocation while removing wooden planks from a newly constructed septic tank in Ariyalur district, Tamil Nadu. The victims, identified as K. Bhaskar, K. Dhinakaran, and K. Ramachandran, fell unconscious after entering the eight-foot deep tank. Police rescued them and they were declared dead at the hospital. The house owner, M. Subramanian, has been detained, and authorities are arranging compensation for the families. The Tamil Nadu AITUC has demanded ₹30 lakh compensation for each family and action against those responsible for negligence.
