Andhra Pradesh: TDP, YSRCP Clash During Poll Nominations; Police Fire 6 Rounds

Violent clashes erupted between the TDP and YSRCP across Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh during the nomination filing phase. In Pulivendula, the home constituency of former CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, police fired six rounds in the air to control YSRCP activists attempting to storm the nomination centre. Similar clashes and stone-pelting incidents were reported in Kadapa, Mydukur, and Rayachoti, resulting in injuries to several activists. Additional police forces were deployed, and some YSRCP leaders were placed under house arrest as a precautionary measure to restore law and order.

आंध्र प्रदेश के कडप्पा जिले में नामांकन दाखिल करने के दौरान TDP और YSRCP के बीच हिंसक झड़पें हुईं। पूर्व सीएम Jagan Mohan Reddy के गृह निर्वाचन क्षेत्र पुलीवेंदुला में, पुलिस ने YSRCP कार्यकर्ताओं को नामांकन केंद्र में घुसने से रोकने के लिए हवा में छह राउंड गोलियां चलाईं। कडप्पा, मैदुकुर और रायचोटी में भी इसी तरह की झड़पों और पथराव की घटनाएं हुईं, जिसमें कई कार्यकर्ता घायल हो गए। कानून व्यवस्था बहाल करने के लिए अतिरिक्त पुलिस बल तैनात किया गया और एहतियात के तौर पर कुछ YSRCP नेताओं को घर में नजरबंद कर दिया गया।
