Andhra Pradesh to Adopt Japan-Style Industrial Clusters for MSMEs
The Hindu · india
Andhra Pradesh is planning to implement a Japan-style cluster development model to enhance supply chain efficiency and promote high-tech manufacturing. Industries Minister T.G. Bharath stated that this approach will decentralize manufacturing, streamline resource sharing, and reduce costs for domestic MSMEs. By grouping complementary industries, the state aims to integrate them into global value chains, particularly in North Andhra's engineering and emerging technology sectors. This initiative follows a CII Regional Summit where significant project MoUs were signed, underscoring the state's focus on production and economic growth.
