Uttarakhand Congress Holds Candle March, Plans Assembly Gherao Over Resort Murder

The Uttarakhand Congress staged a candle march in Dehradun seeking justice for the victim in the Rishikesh resort murder case. Party members announced plans to gherao the Gairsain assembly, the opening day of its session. The Congress also outlined a series of agitations concerning electoral roll revisions, law and order, women's safety, and alleged corruption. A Nyay Yatra will be held across all 70 assembly constituencies to 25.

उत्तराखंड कांग्रेस ने ऋषिकेश रिजॉर्ट हत्याकांड में पीड़ित को न्याय दिलाने के लिए देहरादून में कैंडल मार्च निकाला। पार्टी सदस्यों ने विधानसभा सत्र के पहले दिन गैरसैंण विधानसभा घेराव की योजना की घोषणा की। कांग्रेस ने चुनावी नामावली संशोधन, कानून व्यवस्था, महिला सुरक्षा और कथित भ्रष्टाचार को लेकर कई आंदोलनों की रूपरेखा भी तैयार की। 25 को सभी 70 विधानसभा क्षेत्रों में न्याय यात्रा निकाली जाएगी।
