Kanha Reserve Sees 11 Tiger Deaths in 7 Months Due to CDV Virus

Madhya Pradesh's Kanha Tiger Reserve has reported the deaths of 11 tigers between April and October, raising serious concerns about wildlife conservation. Official records indicate that CDV infection caused eight of these fatalities. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has taken serious note, demanding explanations from the central and state governments regarding the cause of death for two more tigers in September and October. The court also inquired about any other tiger deaths in the past two months and the reasons behind them.

मध्य प्रदेश के कान्हा टाइगर रिजर्व में अप्रैल से अक्टूबर के बीच 11 बाघों की मौत हो गई है, जिससे वन्यजीव संरक्षण पर गंभीर चिंता जताई जा रही है। आधिकारिक रिकॉर्ड बताते हैं कि इनमें से आठ मौतें सीडीवी संक्रमण के कारण हुईं। मध्य प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट ने इस मामले को गंभीरता से लिया है और केंद्र व राज्य सरकारों से सितंबर और अक्टूबर में मरे दो और बाघों की मौत के कारणों पर स्पष्टीकरण मांगा है। कोर्ट ने पिछले दो महीनों में हुई अन्य बाघों की मौतों और उनके कारणों के बारे में भी पूछा है।
