Times of India · education
Maharaja's College in Ernakulam has suspended two students' union office-bearers, chairperson Pranil Raj and vice-chairperson Nafeesath Musliyar, for 10 days. The suspension is pending further investigation into their alleged obstruction of the college's annual convocation event attended by higher education minister Roji M John. Both suspended students are activists with the SFI. The SFI has protested the decision, calling it arbitrary and a denial of justice, alleging the students were punished for raising concerns on behalf of other suspended students.
