Marc Marquez has taken the lead in the MotoGP championship standings after winning the Indonesian Grand Prix sprint race. The Ducati rider overtook Jorge Martin in the closing laps as Martin appeared to struggle with tyre issues. Martin, who had led comfortably, eventually finished fourth, missing out on a podium. Ai Ogura finished second, with Fabio Di Giannantonio securing third place on his birthday. The race began with a crash involving polesitter Raul Fernandez and Marco Bezzecchi.
