Indian stock markets experienced significant volatility. Both the Sensex and Nifty indices crashed at the opening bell, with the Sensex dropping over 600 points. However, within half an hour, the market sentiment reversed dramatically. The Sensex recovered to trade over 360 points higher, while the Nifty also entered positive territory. This sharp recovery followed a dip in crude oil prices and a decrease in the India VIX, a measure of market volatility.
