Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) leader Saurav Das was detained by Delhi Police on Tuesday while attempting to enter Jantar Mantar, a designated protest site. Das recorded a video from inside a detention bus, claiming party members had entered the venue before their arrest. CJP leaders Ashutosh Ranka and Ajinkya Shinde were also detained. The detentions occurred after Jantar Mantar was de-notified as a protest venue on October 11, with Ramlila Maidan and Burari Ground designated as alternatives. CJP continues to demand the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
