Chander Kunj Army Towers: Flat Handover to Begin Monday for Demolition

The process of handing over 208 apartments in towers B and C of Chander Kunj Army Towers to the Army Welfare Housing Organisation will commence on Monday. A district collector's committee has decided to begin this process, which is expected to conclude within two weeks. The demolition contract was awarded to Edifice Engineering, a decision that was upheld by the Kerala High Court after a petition challenging it was dismissed. Preliminary studies by demolition experts, including those involved in the Maradu apartment demolitions, will begin soon.
