UCC to be implemented in 21 BJP states

Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed confidence that the Uniform Civil Code will be implemented across all 21 BJP and NDA-led states before 2029. Madhya Pradesh recently approved the UCC, following Uttarakhand, Gujarat, and Assam. While Uttarakhand has enforced the code, others await presidential assent. Maharashtra, West Bengal, and Chhattisgarh are forming drafting committees. Shah also highlighted the strengthening of the criminal justice system and the end of Naxalism.

बीजेपी राज्यों में यूसीसी लागू होगा

केंद्रीय गृह मंत्री अमित शाह ने भरोसा जताया है कि 2029 से पहले सभी 21 भाजपा और राजग शासित राज्यों में यूनिफॉर्म सिविल कोड (UCC) लागू हो जाएगा। हाल ही में मध्य प्रदेश ने उत्तराखंड, गुजरात और असम के बाद यूसीसी को मंजूरी दी है। उत्तराखंड में यह लागू हो चुका है, जबकि अन्य राज्यों को राष्ट्रपति की मंजूरी का इंतजार है। महाराष्ट्र, पश्चिम बंगाल और छत्तीसगढ़ ड्राफ्टिंग कमेटियां बना रहे हैं।
