AIADMK Sends Legal Notice to Minister Nirmal Kumar Over Defamatory Remarks

The AIADMK party has issued a legal notice to electricity minister C T R Nirmal Kumar for allegedly making defamatory remarks against the party and its general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami. The notice demands that Nirmal Kumar withdraw his statements within seven days, issue a public apology, and pay ₹1 crore in compensation. The minister had accused Palaniswami of colluding with the DMK and referred to AIADMK as a "letter-pad company" after the bypoll results. AIADMK stated that if the minister fails to comply, criminal proceedings will be initiated.
