The BJP-led NDA secured a significant victory in the recent MLC polls, winning 16 out of 28 seats across four states. The alliance swept all four constituencies in Karnataka, dealing a blow to the Congress party. While Bihar and Maharashtra saw split verdicts, the BJP also led in Uttar Pradesh as vote counting concluded. Congress leaders acknowledged the results, with Karnataka CM D.K. Shivakumar stating the party would implement corrective measures. The outcomes suggest organizational weaknesses within Congress and highlight closer coordination among NDA partners.
