Gurgaon Road Dug Up Six Months After Carpeting For Drain Work

Residents in Gurgaon's Sector 9A are complaining about poor planning after a 400-meter stretch of road, recently carpeted, was dug up again for a stormwater drain. The 18-meter road, a key access route, was excavated in the center, damaging water pipelines and leaving debris. Residents argue the drain should have been planned along the side, not the middle. An MCG official cited a high water table as a limiting factor for excavation depth and proximity to the roadside, citing risks to existing water lines and properties.

गुड़गांव के सेक्टर 9A के निवासी खराब प्लानिंग की शिकायत कर रहे हैं। हाल ही में कारपेट की गई सड़क के 400 मीटर हिस्से को फिर से एक स्टॉर्मवाटर ड्रेन के लिए खोदा गया है। 18 मीटर चौड़ी सड़क, जो एक मुख्य रास्ता है, के बीच में खुदाई की गई, जिससे पानी की पाइपलाइनें क्षतिग्रस्त हो गईं और मलबा फैल गया। निवासियों का कहना है कि नाले की योजना सड़क के किनारे बनाई जानी चाहिए थी, बीच में नहीं। एक MCG अधिकारी ने कहा कि पानी का जलस्तर ऊंचा होने के कारण खुदाई की गहराई और सड़क के किनारे की दूरी सीमित थी, जिससे मौजूदा पानी की लाइनों और संपत्तियों को खतरा था।
