1,800-Year-Old Roman Camp Found in Slovakia

An approximately 1,800-year-old Roman military camp has been discovered in southwestern Slovakia. Archaeologists believe it may have been used by Emperor Marcus Aurelius' army during the Marcomannic Wars. The site yielded skeletons, weapons, armour, coins, and military sandals. This rare find could offer new insights into Roman military campaigns and the lives of soldiers.
