Delhi Air Quality Dips to 'Poor', GRAP Stage 1 Restrictions Implemented

Mint · environment

Delhi's air quality has fallen into the 'poor' category, prompting the Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) to implement Stage 1 of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP). This triggers restrictions on vehicles, including strict enforcement of PUC norms and diversion of non-destined trucks. Construction sites must adhere to dust control measures, and projects not meeting registration requirements will be halted. Hotels and restaurants face a ban on coal and firewood in tandoors, with mandates for clean fuel appliances.

इसके चलते Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) ने Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP) का स्टेज 1 लागू कर दिया है।
