Abhijeet Dipke, CJP chief, has questioned the Delhi Police's actions following his arrest. He alleged that police denied him permission to use his phone to contact his cousin, who was with his grandmother, and also refused a lawyer's call. Dipke further stated that police woke him at 3:30 AM to inform him of his impending long jail term, causing further distress to his father who had just lost his mother. The police, however, claim Dipke refused to speak with his family.

सीजेपी प्रमुख अभिजीत दिपके ने अपनी गिरफ्तारी के बाद दिल्ली पुलिस के रवैये पर सवाल उठाए हैं। उन्होंने आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस ने उन्हें अपने चचेरे भाई से फोन पर बात करने की अनुमति नहीं दी, जो उनकी दादी के साथ था, और वकील को भी फोन नहीं करने दिया। दिपके ने आगे कहा कि पुलिस ने उन्हें सुबह 3:30 बजे जगाकर बताया कि उन्हें लंबी जेल की सजा होने वाली है, जिससे उनके पिता को और अधिक दुख हुआ, जिनकी माँ का हाल ही में निधन हुआ था। हालांकि, पुलिस का दावा है कि दिपके ने अपने परिवार से बात करने से इनकार कर दिया था।
