Chhattisgarh Schools Shut Due To Heavy Rains

Schools have been closed in eight districts of Chhattisgarh, including Dantewada and Bijapur, due to heavy rainfall and flooding. The district administrations declared holidays for government and private institutions as waterlogging disrupted road connectivity and affected low-lying areas. Quarterly examinations scheduled in government schools have also been postponed. This decision comes as rivers and streams swell, with floodwaters entering residential areas and submerging parts of roads, impacting connectivity and safety.

छत्तीसगढ़ के आठ जिलों, जिनमें दंतेवाड़ा और बीजापुर शामिल हैं, में भारी बारिश और बाढ़ के कारण स्कूल बंद कर दिए गए हैं। जिला प्रशासन ने सरकारी और निजी संस्थानों में छुट्टियां घोषित कर दी हैं क्योंकि जलभराव से सड़क संपर्क बाधित हो गया है और निचले इलाकों में पानी भर गया है। सरकारी स्कूलों में होने वाली तिमाही परीक्षाएं भी स्थगित कर दी गई हैं। नदियों और नालों के उफान पर होने और आवासीय इलाकों में बाढ़ का पानी घुसने के कारण यह फैसला लिया गया है।
