Six-Month-Old Slender Loris Rescued From Trichy Home, Released Into Forest

Forest department officials in Trichy rescued a six-month-old female slender loris that had wandered into a residential area in Sundar Nagar. Residents alerted the authorities after spotting the nocturnal animal inside a house. The loris was taken to a veterinary clinic for first aid before being released into a forest habitat near MR Palayam. Officials expressed surprise at the animal being found in a residential zone, as slender lorises are typically found in rural and forest areas.

त्रिची में वन विभाग के अधिकारियों ने 6 महीने के एक मादा स्लेंडर लोरिस को बचाया, जो सुंदर नगर के एक रिहायशी इलाके में भटक गया था। निवासियों ने घर के अंदर इस रात में निकलने वाले जानवर को देखकर अधिकारियों को सतर्क किया। प्राथमिक उपचार के लिए लोरिस को एक पशु चिकित्सालय ले जाया गया, जिसके बाद उसे एमआर पालयम के पास एक जंगल में छोड़ दिया गया। अधिकारी इस जानवर को रिहायशी इलाके में देखकर हैरान थे, क्योंकि स्लेंडर लोरिस आमतौर पर ग्रामीण और जंगली इलाकों में पाए जाते हैं।
