Illegal Bangladeshi Immigrant Arrested in Jharkhand For Pulling Train Chain

An alleged illegal Bangladeshi immigrant, Suman Mian (26), was arrested in Jharkhand's Sahibganj district for pulling the emergency chain of the Brahmaputra Mail. He was travelling to Guwahati, Assam, with four others who escaped, having fled Srinagar after a crackdown on illegal immigrants. Mian claimed he pulled the chain after being jolted awake between stations. Authorities recovered a Bangladeshi ID, phones, and foreign currency. Investigations are ongoing to determine his entry, stay duration, and associates' whereabouts, with the NIA reportedly taking cognisance.

झारखंड के साहिबगंज जिले में कथित तौर पर अवैध बांग्लादेशी घुसपैठिया सुमन मिया (26) को ब्रह्मपुत्र मेल की इमरजेंसी चेन खींचने के आरोप में गिरफ्तार किया गया है। वह चार अन्य लोगों के साथ गुवाहाटी, असम जा रहा था, जो फरार हो गए। ये लोग अवैध घुसपैठियों पर कार्रवाई के बाद श्रीनगर से भागे थे। मिया ने दावा किया कि स्टेशनों के बीच झटके से जागने के बाद उसने चेन खींची थी। अधिकारियों ने एक बांग्लादेशी आईडी, फोन और विदेशी मुद्रा बरामद की। उसकी एंट्री, रहने की अवधि और साथियों के ठिकानों का पता लगाने के लिए जांच चल रही है, और कथित तौर पर NIA ने संज्ञान लिया है।
