Baba Ramdev Claims Owaisi Will Benefit Yogi In Uttar Pradesh Elections

TV9 Hindi · politics

Yoga guru Baba Ramdev has stated that AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi's participation in Uttar Pradesh elections will benefit Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Ramdev believes Owaisi's presence will split votes among certain communities, leading to an advantage for the BJP. He made these remarks while speaking to journalists in Sambhal district. Owaisi has been urging Muslim youth to step forward as leaders rather than follow established political families. Despite these appeals, AIMIM's electoral presence in Uttar Pradesh remains limited, having secured just over 0.40% of the vote in 2022.
