Keralam Chief Minister V D Satheesan announced the government's aim to enhance KSRTC's professionalism and modernize facilities for comprehensive development. He flagged off seven new services and inaugurated a new bus waiting centre, emphasizing the success of the Priyadarshini scheme offering free travel for women. Despite initial predictions of financial collapse, KSRTC has seen increased revenue. Plans include new interstate packages and significant infrastructure upgrades for the Paravur depot, with a Rs 4 crore first phase for a new building and an additional Rs 10 crore for its completion.

केरल के मुख्यमंत्री वी डी सतीसन ने कहा कि सरकार KSRTC के व्यावसायिकता को बढ़ाने और व्यापक विकास के लिए सुविधाओं के आधुनिकीकरण का लक्ष्य रखती है। उन्होंने सात नई सेवाओं को हरी झंडी दिखाई और एक नया बस प्रतीक्षालय का उद्घाटन किया। उन्होंने महिलाओं के लिए मुफ्त यात्रा की पेशकश करने वाली प्रियदर्शनी योजना की सफलता पर जोर दिया। शुरुआती वित्तीय पतन की भविष्यवाणियों के बावजूद, KSRTC ने राजस्व में वृद्धि देखी है। योजनाओं में नई अंतरराज्यीय पैकेज और Paravur डिपो के लिए महत्वपूर्ण बुनियादी ढांचा उन्नयन शामिल हैं, जिसमें एक नई इमारत के लिए 4 करोड़ रुपये का पहला चरण और इसके पूरा होने के लिए अतिरिक्त 10 करोड़ रुपये शामिल हैं।
