Milma chairman K.S. Mani has alleged that the recent dissolution of the Malabar Regional Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union board was politically motivated. He challenged the government to provide evidence of corruption, suggesting the move could be an attempt to dismantle Milma. The Malabar union's board was dissolved on September 18, following the Thiruvananthapuram union's dissolution in July. Both dissolved boards had a Left Democratic Front majority, while the UDF-led Ernakulam union remains untouched. Mani expressed doubts about the upcoming annual general body meeting's quorum due to these terminations.
