BSE Volumes Ease, Closing Auction Session Remains Focus

BSE's trading volumes have eased after a recent rebound, though they remain above earlier monthly lows, according to Nuvama Institutional Equities. The exchange's average daily premium turnover value stood at Rs 21,300 crore, a weekly decline of 6.6%. Meanwhile, SEBI Chairman Tuhin Kanta Pandey stated the Closing Auction Session (CAS) mechanism is permanent, despite initial liquidity concerns. He noted similar patterns in other global markets, with liquidity improving over time.

नुवामा इंस्टीट्यूशनल इक्विटीज के अनुसार, हालिया उछाल के बाद BSE के ट्रेडिंग वॉल्यूम में थोड़ी कमी आई है, लेकिन ये पिछले महीनों के निचले स्तर से ऊपर हैं। एक्सचेंज का औसत दैनिक प्रीमियम टर्नओवर मूल्य ₹21,300 करोड़ रहा, जो पिछले हफ्ते 6.6% कम है। वहीं, SEBI चेयरमैन तुहिन कांता पांडे ने कहा कि लिक्विडिटी की शुरुआती चिंताओं के बावजूद, क्लोजिंग ऑक्शन सेशन (CAS) स्थायी है। उन्होंने कहा कि दूसरे देशों में भी ऐसा ही हुआ है और समय के साथ लिक्विडिटी बेहतर हुई है।
