Pune Trust to Restore 10 Ancient Tamil Nadu

A Pune-based charitable trust plans to restore and conserve 10 ancient temples in Tamil Nadu, including the Sri Vadivudai Amman temple. The restoration, identified by the HR&CE department, will cost between ₹5 crore and ₹7 crore per temple. In the first phase, three temples will be restored at a cost of ₹20 crore. Work will focus on arresting water leakages and chemical conservation. The project aims to preserve the historical and religious significance of these ancient structures.

पुणे की एक चैरिटेबल ट्रस्ट तमिलनाडु के 10 प्राचीन मंदिरों का जीर्णोद्धार और संरक्षण करने की योजना बना रही है, जिसमें श्री वदिवुदई अम्मन मंदिर भी शामिल है। HR&CE विभाग द्वारा पहचानी गई बहाली पर प्रति मंदिर ₹5 करोड़ से ₹7 करोड़ का खर्च आएगा। पहले चरण में, ₹20 करोड़ की लागत से तीन मंदिरों का जीर्णोद्धार किया जाएगा। काम पानी के रिसाव को रोकने और रासायनिक संरक्षण पर केंद्रित होगा। इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य इन प्राचीन संरचनाओं के ऐतिहासिक और धार्मिक महत्व को संरक्षित करना है।
