Kuno National Park in Madhya Pradesh has recorded another historic achievement with the birth of five healthy cheetah cubs to a 32-month-old female cheetah, KJP21. This brings the total cheetah population in India to 60, including 41 cubs born on Indian soil. KJP21 is the third female cheetah born in India to give birth to cubs, marking a significant milestone in cheetah conservation efforts. The birth of these cubs also introduces the Botswanan lineage to India's growing cheetah population, as their father was brought from Botswana.
