IAS Training Delayed By OBC Creamy Layer Supreme Court Ruling

IAS training has been delayed by two months due to confusion surrounding a Supreme Court ruling on the OBC creamy layer. DOPT has requested the Supreme Court to clarify its, decision. The central government has asked for two years to implement the new ruling, which considers parental social status and job nature, not just income, for creamy layer determination. The Supreme Court has reserved its order on this matter, and IAS training will only commence after this clarification.

ओबीसी क्रीमी लेयर पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट के फैसले को लेकर चल रहे कन्फ्यूजन के कारण आईएएस ट्रेनिंग दो महीने के लिए टाल दी गई है। डीओपीटी ने सुप्रीम कोर्ट से अपने फैसले को स्पष्ट करने का अनुरोध किया है। केंद्र सरकार ने नए नियम को लागू करने के लिए दो साल का समय मांगा है, जिसमें क्रीमी लेयर निर्धारण के लिए केवल आय ही नहीं, बल्कि माता-पिता की सामाजिक स्थिति और नौकरी की प्रकृति पर भी विचार किया जाएगा। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इस मामले पर अपना फैसला सुरक्षित रख लिया है, और इस स्पष्टीकरण के बाद ही आईएएस ट्रेनिंग शुरू हो पाएगी।
