Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has directed power distribution companies to establish clear electricity billing norms for group housing societies in Gurgaon. This directive follows numerous complaints from residents alleging overcharging above regulator-approved rates. Senior power officials are tasked with meeting resident welfare associations to formulate appropriate norms and ensure prompt resolution of incorrect bill grievances. The move comes amid increased scrutiny by the Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) into billing practices, including a recent order for a comprehensive audit of bills at ATS Triumph society.

हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री नायब सिंह सैनी ने गुरुग्राम में ग्रुप हाउसिंग सोसायटियों के लिए बिजली बिलिंग के स्पष्ट नियम बनाने का निर्देश दिया है। यह निर्देश रेगुलेटर द्वारा मंजूर दरों से ज़्यादा बिल वसूलने की कई शिकायतों के बाद आया है। वरिष्ठ बिजली अधिकारियों को निवासी कल्याण संघों से मिलने और सही बिलिंग के लिए उचित नियम बनाने का काम सौंपा गया है। यह कदम हरियाणा इलेक्ट्रिसिटी रेगुलेटरी कमीशन (HERC) द्वारा बिलिंग प्रथाओं की बढ़ती जांच के बीच आया है, जिसमें हाल ही में ATS Triumph सोसाइटी के बिलों का विस्तृत ऑडिट करने का आदेश भी शामिल है।
