CoinSwitch's investment arm, CoinSwitch Ventures, is rebranding as BlackLane Capital to broaden its investment scope beyond cryptocurrency. The firm will now back early-stage companies across fintech, enterprise infrastructure, consumer applications, and digital assets, offering investments up to $5 million. BlackLane Capital aims to facilitate over $100 million in startup funding within five years through its network. This strategic shift allows investment in a wider range of businesses that solve real problems and have scaling potential, moving beyond its original Web3 mandate while still retaining digital assets as an investment area.
