The association objects to the movie's portrayal of the medical profession, citing concerns over depictions of corruption and alleged violence against healthcare workers. The IMA fears such scenes could normalize attacks on doctors and damage public trust. They emphasized that while individual misconduct should face legal action, the reputation of honest medical professionals should not be tarnished. The film is slated for a November 20 release.

इंडियन मेडिकल एसोसिएशन (IMA) ने केंद्रीय सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्री से आगामी फिल्म 'सूर्या - अंत से आरंभ तक' की समीक्षा करने का आग्रह किया है। एसोसिएशन को फिल्म में चिकित्सा पेशे के चित्रण पर आपत्ति है, जिसमें भ्रष्टाचार और स्वास्थ्य कर्मियों के खिलाफ कथित हिंसा के दृश्यों पर चिंता जताई गई है। IMA को डर है कि ऐसे दृश्य डॉक्टरों पर हमलों को सामान्य बना सकते हैं और जनता के विश्वास को नुकसान पहुंचा सकते हैं। उन्होंने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि व्यक्तिगत कदाचार पर कानूनी कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए, लेकिन ईमानदार चिकित्सा पेशेवरों की प्रतिष्ठा को धूमिल नहीं किया जाना चाहिए। फिल्म 20 नवंबर को रिलीज होने वाली है।
